TitleMr Cooch's Garden, Walden House, Huntingdon
DescriptionThe 1861 census returns record that Alderman Samuel E Cooch lived on Market Hill, Huntingdon, with his family, and the trade directories of 1864 and 1869 list him as a stamp distributor of Market Hill or the High Street. "S E Cooch's Garden" is scratched on the glass plate negative and presumably the figure sitting on the garden bench is Mr Cooch. He lived in Walden House until 1870, when the house was sold to Mr Margetts.
