DescriptionThis car, believed to be a Wolseley, was built by Charles S Windover & Co., coachbuilders by special appointment to His Majesty the King, the Royal carriage works, George Street, Huntingdon. This car is parked outside numbers 7-8 Brampton Road, Huntingdon, close to the factory. Both houses still stand today. No. 7 on the right, with its red brick and terracotta banding, is named Park Villas and was built in 1885. It is a semi- detached house now converted into flats, as is no. 8.
