DescriptionAnother view of the garden and studio of Mr Arthur Maddison at 74-75 Ermine Street, Huntingdon. Arthur Maddison married Julia Hinde (nee Chancellor), widow of Michael Hinde, plumber of Bedford in 1874, and in the same year he purchased 74-75 Ermine Street and set up his new studio here This view shows a woman holding a dog, standing beside a large birdcage. A man and a woman stand behind her, and in the distance another man can be seen with a camera on a tripod.
