TitleCharter of King John
DescriptionThe charter grants the borough of Huntingdon to the burgesses at the accustomed yearly fee farm plus an increase of £10, to be paid in two equal halves, at Easter and Michaelmas. The burgesses are to have the same (unspecified) liberties and customs that all other free boroughs and burgesses do have. Neither the sheriff nor any other person may interfere in the affairs of the borough.
