DescriptionSome minutes are typed. Many new issues are discussed during this period: the presence in Cambridge of refugees from Nazi Germany, ARP, evacuees, the morals of locally based servicemen and hospitality arrangements for American servicemen. In 1946 Lady Bragg, the mayor, was elected chairman of the branch as was another mayor, Mrs. Dogett at a later date. In 1946 Fitzroy Hall, which the branch had purchased in its early years for the purpose of letting out to other organizations was sold.
