DescriptionThe main purpose of this committee was to press for the provision of 'respectable' lodging houses for women. They were also concerned with the problems of post-war housing for wage-earners. A letter attached from Mrs. Rootham to Mrs. Gray is not relevant - jotted in pencil on the reverse are the names of committee members present. Includes minutes of House Planning Committee, 6 December 1917 and 31 January 1918 and minutes of meetings to arrange a Young People's Meeting scheduled for September 1922 at the Guildhall.
