TitleSchool Council
DescriptionThe School Council was founded in 1939 and aimed to give students an opportunity to take part in the running of the school. It was initially concerned with administering the school fund to provide for new library books, trips and equipment but eventually it also became a forum in which students could raise concerns and propose changes. The Council met twice a term. The Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer were usually members of the Upper Sixth and there were two representatives from each form.
