DescriptionLiable: Augustus Goodman Ekin of Heathfield, Cambridge, esquire, expectant on death of Mary Ekin (born 29 September 1801) and now living (Augustus Goodman Ekin was born 23 July 1835). Moiety of freehold, copyhold and leasehold, messuages etc, described in attached schedule, sold to Philip Llewelyn Hudson for £13,000 but deductions: a) Mortgage for £4,800 (paid off in 1882) the purchase money of £3,475 realised by sale of part of the Hoop estate was applied in part payment of the mortgage. Balance of £1,325 to be deducted on future succession. b) Mortgage to Moses Brown for £650 at 5% pa. c) Mortgage to trustees of Cambridgeshire Permanent Benefit Building Society for £648. Moiety of £2,623 = £1,300 10s deducted.
