DescriptionWitness statements from two other constables, Thomas Ellis and Daniel Holmes patrolling the streets with police constable John Bacon and Marshall Fisher of St Mary Ely who witnessed a skirmish near the Kings Arms and near the Red Lion Inn. He believes he saw nearly 200 hundred persons assembled in the High street causing a disturbance.
