Also a letter from Wm Hammond of Grays Inn Lane London a relative of the child to Robert Tew, farmer and overseer of Downham parish. Examination of Hannah the wife of James Beckwith, housekeeper of Stratford, West Ham county of Essex witness to the birth of Sarah Hartley resident in West Ham who cohabited with Robert Smith assuming the name of Susan Smith and not Susan Hartley.
