DescriptionFor conditions for letting tolls [1825-1852] see T/E/AF 1 and 2above; for particulars, see T/E/FA. The leases take the form of bonds to the trustees for the payment of the rent of tolls. The figures indicate the yearly rent successfully bid by the lessee. Each lessee also had a surety or sureties (not listed below).
