DescriptionA messuage now divided into 2 tenements together with a town(?), a dovecote and piece of enclosed pasture ground adjoining called Dovecote Close (3r 30p) in the parish of St John Huntingdon, abutting next Peters Lane on the north, land of the Earl of Sandwich on the south, the Great Turnpike Road on the west, and also all the piece of pasture ground or leys to the east of the above, commonly known as Lammas ground, containing 2a 0r 22p abutting north on Peters Lane, east on lands of the Duke of Manchester and south on the land of the Earl of Sandwich, all which premises were late the estate Thomas Jenkinson Woodward, esquire, and were lately purchased of him by the mayor, etc.
