DescriptionOutlines the measures proposed to relieve the effects of the floods and gives the estimated cost the work as £1,600. Lord Sandwich has put his name down for £500 and it is hoped that many others will subscribe. A copy of the resolutions passed at the Public Meeting on 6th October is included in the circular.
