Description18. January, 1839-October, 1842 19. December, 1849-December, 1860 20. January, 1874-December, 1886 21. January, 1887-November, 1901. All the books contain a general abstract of the monthly bills for food. All, except the earliest one, contain also a monthly account of the amount of food used in the house. The earliest account book has a list of servants and their monthly and yearly wages. It also contains, for a few months, the London housekeeping accounts. The second and third account books have lists of the sums of money spent on stores at Hinchingbrooke House from 1850 to 1860, and from 1874 to 1880, and at Hinchingbrooke House and Hook Court from 1881 to 1886.
