DescriptionOn the direction of the Secretary of State for War, forwards copies of a General Order which lays down the new Territorial Organisation of the Army and Militia, and gives notice that vacancies in the rank of Subaltern in Militia Regiments will now be notified accoring to the Territorial Title assigned to each Regiment in the new General Order. Enclosed: 2 copies of "Extract from General Orders, dated 1st July, 1881".
