DescriptionHas been directed by the Lord President of the Council, to send, for information and guidance, an Order in Council, fixing the Quota; of Militia Men to be raised in the several Counties, Ridings and Places in England and Wales, under the Militia Act of the last Session of Parliament. Enclosed: Order in Council of 30th June, 1852, with an annexed schedule listing the numbers to be raised in 1852 and 1853 for each county etc.
