DescriptionThe Board of Ordnance has received Captain Green's communication, stating that, as a result of a deficiency of clothing issued for the privates of the Huntingdon Rifle Regiment of Militia he had bought 7 suits, and transmitting a bill and receipt for £10.10.0d. for the same. Informs the Earl that application for the additional suits should have been made to the Secretary at War, but that the Board has ordered repayment to be made to the Regiment at the average Contract prices. Requests that the 8 suits for Serjeants be sent to the Storekeeper at The Tower if not required by the Corps.
