DescriptionInforming him, on behalf of the General Commanding in Chief, that the General Office Commanding the Northern and Midland Districts was requested, on the 16th, to send 9men from the Corps at Weedon to assist in the drill of the Huntingdon Militia. On inquiry in the Quarter Master General's Department, it appears that the 9 men were sent off on the 23rd. As regards the request for 3 Buglers, is commanded to inform the Earl that they are not considered essential to the training of the Militia.
