DescriptionThinks that none of the 8 suits sent for the Serjeants should have been appropriated for those on the Permanent Staff. The Permanent Staff should be provided with clothing by the Earl. (see War Office Instructions, 20th August, 1852, page 25 section 9) Finds that Bryant will make the serjeant's suit within the price allowed. The 8 suits should, therefore, be returned to the store for future use.
