DescriptionElectrical generators at the premises of Bayliss & Thackray, engineers, iron and brass founders and agricultural implement makers and agents, the Victoria Foundry, Huntingdon. The Maddison and Hinde indexed order book records that a photograph was taken of Thackray's machinery in 1891. The Victoria Foundry was at the north end of the High Street, beside the railway line. It was taken over by Harvey & Williams of London c1899 - see WH3/992B for an image of the factory c1899 and further details of the history of the firm of Harvey & Williams
