Proved in P.C.C.

18 - Dame Dorothy Clarke's Charity. Copies of letters to Sir Thomas Skipwith or Skipworth, with replies from Thomas Ludbey, (an attorney) of Newbold Hall, Rugby, and Harley Street, London, addressed to Thomas Paris, churchwarden, and to Mr. Randall, attorney, of Cambridge, concerning claim by the parish to payment of the £3 annuity, bequeathed by Dame Dorothy Clarke, by Sir Thomas Skipwith as descendent of the sole executor, Fulwar Skipwith. It appears that Sir Thomas had died some years earlier. A promise was given to examine the family documents to see if anything substantiated the claim
