The Kimbolton Branch formed part of the greater Mothers' Union, an international membership charity formally established in 1896. The Mothers' Union currently operates (as of 2015) in 83 countries and seeks to promote and support married life as a demonstration of Christian faith in action.  The Kimbolton Branch of the Mothers' Union closed in 1998.</dc:description>
